Procedure on becoming unavailable on match days (or at other short notice)

There may be occasions when illness or other unavoidable circumstances mean

that you become unavailable on the day of a match, or at some other short

notice that precludes you from advising the Chairman or a member of the

Appointments Committee.  In such circumstances, the most important person to

advise of your non-availability is the umpire who has been appointed to

stand with you: this is one of the major reasons we ask each standing member

to provide a match day contact for inclusion in the Member Contact Details

available elsewhere on this web site.

The other significant contact on match days is the Umpires Observer,

currently Derek Gould (mobile 0400 020 499).
